H never sew without a set pattern, so it was fun to be able to put the fabric up on the form and just see what comes out. Sometimes what comes out isn't. But the class was 6 hours, plenty of time to McGyver a pleasant outcome. It's not great, BUT. I do like 2 things about it. 1 being this gigantic bow. I really love the Art Nouveau style. These are my favorite looks on the plate. I have NO IDEA why I put them in the background. A backless sundress. A little safe, but it matched the set. I dipped a pen in watercolor to do the lines, and had to get control over both the pen and the water flowing from the tip. It worked well with the metallic paint. Also, this dress:.
