Treasuring Today: March 2010

http://theplasterers.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 19, 2010. Friday March 19th- here. I'll take California and 80 degree weather, please! This car (and it's people) want to see warmth and sunshine not wet and snow! So we started the week with fifths disease and are ending it with strep throat. We started it with snow and are ending it with snow.(although we did have some beautiful near 70 degree days inbetween) Next week's gotta be better, right? Thursday, March 18, 2010. Where you see a $2000 mountain bike on top of a $200 car. While waiti...

Treasuring Today: May 2010

http://theplasterers.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Last Day of School Celebration. Since the kids had never been miniature golfing before and it. The last day of school. There is a place in town that is only $2 a person we went miniature golfing! They didn't so much play by traditional rules. And we didn't keep score (although when I got my hole in one on the first hole I was really wanting to:). But they had a blast. And even looked cool doing it. And can't wait to go back. More picture taking, cheering and ball chasing. Going t...

Treasuring Today: Zachary David turns 6

http://theplasterers.blogspot.com/2010/08/zachary-david-turns-6.html

Monday, August 16, 2010. Zachary David turns 6. A birthday breakfast of donut, waffle and smoothie. Heading out for some bday fun. First stop- bday club @ toys r us. They of course quickly found the star wars isle. Met some friends at chuck E Cheese's (I love it on a weekday morning). Lexi was so excited that she got to talk to chuck e cheese on the phone. She still was quite certain she didn't want to see him in person roaming the restaurant- the phone was waaayyy better). Our boy is 6 now! A Bar A Ranch.

Treasuring Today: our weekend

http://theplasterers.blogspot.com/2010/08/our-weekend.html

Monday, August 16, 2010. Some care of the tomato plants. Zach picks and eats. Mini golf with dad. Part of our aug. bday fun/last few weeks of summer fun). Pink head to toe- love it! Her celebratory swing in the air (happened almost all 18 holes). Josh liked taking pictures of the ball in the hole. There may have been a bit of "using your hands to move the ball to an easier spot" by the little girlie. The ball "accidentally" fell in the water oh about 10 times- they loved fishing it out with the golf clubs.

Hide and Seek: August 2010

http://joanvandewater.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 01, 2010. I haven't posted a blog entry in over a month and it may be another month before I find time to get caught up. What's keeping me so busy? We've been going and doing everywhere and everything this summer. Lots of day trips, free movies, a camping trip, vacation to Washington, baseball games, visiting Bill and working in the garden. Plus I have work and projects for the upcoming MOPS year to complete. Hopefully I'll have time to post more soon. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Hide and Seek: Happy Fall

http://joanvandewater.blogspot.com/2010/10/happy-fall.html

Friday, October 29, 2010. I'm back, not sure how consistent I'll be, and I definitely can't catch up for the last three months, but I'll post a few pictures and see if I can be a tad more consistent. No promises. I posted back to June when we took our tenth anniversary trip to WA; splitting time between my parent's house south of Spokane and a couple only trip over to Seattle. We had a great trip. Anyway, enjoy the photos and I hope to be back soon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Rocks In My Dryer.

Friday, November 05, 2010. What kid doesn't like to dress up? My boys are no different. Matthew is Prince of Persia and Tyler is my Knight in Shining Armor. Hide and Seek: April 2010

http://joanvandewater.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Sunday, April 11, 2010. It was a beautiful spring day so instead of our normal routine of heading to the gym we drove to the hills. Falcon Park is our favorite park that is close enough to drive to, but feels like we got away a little bit. Tyler took this picture! Tuesday, April 06, 2010. I think it is truly impossible to get pictures of these boys in nice clothes. They both looked very dapper for Easter but they had stripped out of their clothes faster than I could blink when we got home. Why does a red...

Hide and Seek: Gingerbread Houses

http://joanvandewater.blogspot.com/2010/12/gingerbread-houses.html

Monday, December 27, 2010. Matthew really wanted me to come watch/help him decorate his gingerbread house just before Christmas break. It was fun to see the creativity of all the kids. I think more of his candy got eaten than ended up on his house, but overall it was a lot of fun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Steve and I have been married for 10 years. Hide and Seek: Tyler's Christmas Party

http://joanvandewater.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-party.html

Monday, December 27, 2010. Of course, what are the holidays without a bunch of Christmas parties where my kids can fill up on sugar! Truly one of the annoying things about the holidays, but I just have to roll with it and limit what gets brought home. Tyler loves his pre-K class and joined in with all the festivities. Hide and Seek: June 2010

http://joanvandewater.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Thursday, June 10, 2010. Silly Tyler - he was being Mr. Potato Head messing around before the program began. Look at that smile! His whole body smiles when he's happy! Ain't gonna paint no more - the book of the year in Tyler's class. They loved getting all painted up for the performance. Miss Marshall - Tyler's teacher. Mrs Balding - what a great teacher. She helped Matthew become a leader and earn lots of smiley faces. These three together equal trouble with a capital "T". Field Day Times Two. Picture ...

Hide and Seek: Christmas Eve Service

http://joanvandewater.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-eve-service.html

Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Matthew was invited to sing at the Christmas Eve service. He is well known in the childrens program for being able to sing LOUD! In fact, last Christmas his whole class came up to sing in "big church" and he was practically yelling when he was singing. Besides the volume, he does not suffer from stage fright whatsoever which makes him a good addition to a small group! He did a great job and we were so proud of him. Hide and Seek: March 2010

http://joanvandewater.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 29, 2010. Matthew went to Skate City to try rollerskating for the first time for a fundraiser for his school. We had a great time. I didn't get any pictures of us skating but, he was having fun with Gavin while he got something to drink. It was a very fun night. This is the outfit Tyler decided to wear when he was riding his Tricycle. He loves to go up and down the sidewalk in the front of the house either on his scooter or his tricycle. Heavy looking on while Daddy installed our new cooktop.

Hide and Seek: May 2010

http://joanvandewater.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Mother's Day for the Birds. On an impromptu hike in Waterton Canyon we found the Adobon Sociey catching and tagging migratory birds. We learned all about an crowned warbler, yellow warbler, and house wren. Matthew and Tyler got to hold the house wren in their hands for a brief moment before it flew away. It was a very fun hike. Congrats my Awana Cubbie and Sparky! You did a fabulous job. Matthew got creative. Never knew Mom and Dad looked that skinny. Crafting at the Depot.

And no one should ever feel the way that I feel now. A walking open wound, a trophy display of bruises. And I don't believe that I'm getting any better. Waiting here with hopes the phone will ring.
