Side Dishes and Sandwiches. July 10, 2015. Zileibi or Mshabak is delightful. Traditional sweet dish that is made on special occasions. The Zilebi or Mshabak is a crispy fried sweet dipped in a sugar syrup. It’s usually orange or yellow in color. It tastes delicious so it worths making it. 1 cup corn flour. 1 1/2 cups warm water. A pinch of yellow food coloring (or use saffron powder). For serving: 1 cup of sugar syrup. Mix flour, corn starch, yeast, salt and sugar. Dough should look like cake butter.

Sunday, August 9, 2015. We went to the Outer Banks for a week and it was wonderful. Gramps and Great Aunt Pat joined us in an effort to help our family continue to work through the problems that have been challenging us as a result of Josh's PTSD. We are grateful to them for making the drive and being there for our family when things got tough. Gramps used the ocean to demonstrate that when things knock you down, you try to get up again. Josh really played with the kids and they enjoyed every minute of it.
