Poetic Spew: strange

http://www.thepoeticspew.com/2015/08/strange.html

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Empty skies hold illusions of what once was. And i sit still on solid earth,. As an insecure speck does. I called to the stars to carry me away. To show me what life looks like. How the trees always sway. But the last thing i would expect. Was for there to be so much grey area. I thought it would be more direct. But that's just a flaw of the trade. To observe this world. And to provide my aid. I'm not forcing down what cannot be reached. I am not tearing down morals preached.

Poetic Spew: the crash

http://www.thepoeticspew.com/2015/06/the-crash.html

Tuesday, June 9, 2015. I ended the night. Looking for things that. May have been left behind. All the while side defiled. Never left the back of my mind. No, i wouldn’t dare. I know what i saw. But not sure what they found. With anxiety still raw. No chance of coming down. Still reviewing the scene. Tied to the mast. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Against the grain (2). Poetic Spew: it grew old

http://www.thepoeticspew.com/2015/05/it-grew-old.html

Tuesday, May 26, 2015. It grew old;. Listening to stories in ways. As they remembered the glory days. But I am not in the position to question those told. Sit back and soak it in. Every comedic loss and triumphant win. As told with the same vigor. As a man cornered screaming "pull the trigger". As a hand well played. I create to evade. Telling tales of years past. To make this nostalgic spark last. As it grew new. I sat there with you. Learning of the family. And what I have yet to see. I fell into mud.

Poetic Spew: settling in a tree.

http://www.thepoeticspew.com/2015/07/settling-in-tree.html

Saturday, July 4, 2015. Settling in a tree. Everyone around us is losing faith. And now, so are you. Boiling down to subconscious hate. And now i'm losing it too. Memories grasped like a safety line. Through the haze of lost time. Your fingers gradually slipping. Still the world keeps tipping. You knew what was best for yourself. So you forgot everyone else. And i held strong and believed it all. So now i'm the one to take the fall. My world is quickly coming apart. Happiness ends where misery starts.

Poetic Spew: life is what you perceive.

http://www.thepoeticspew.com/2015/07/life-is-what-you-perceive.html

Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Life is what you perceive. I lay here thinking that i'd be better off dead. Listening to things that i wish i never said. And melting away into my fresh new greys. Telling tall tales about how no one ever stays. And maybe i'm wrong. But i won't admit. That i trust most people as far as i can spit. So it's a vicious circle. And i'm jumping over hurdles. Only to land flat on my face;. And the further i go. The less i have to show. The more i fall victim. It hasn't gotten bad.

Wwwoceanpoetstore.wordpress.com www.anothersaturdaynightpoet.wordpress.com. A SUNDAY’S VERSE by OCEAN C POET. August 16, 2015. August 17, 2015. Its 6:22 am, and my heart will never be the same, I hold no one to blame. As I head over to the mountaintop, I notice for a moment. I had writer’s block, my verse wouldn’t spill poetically. Why it always happens to me, I’m just trying to learn to be. In a world in disbelief, our taxes pay policemen to kill our children. Its 2:56 pm, and keeping busy, keeps me calm.

About me, basically. 8220;I write because I read, I read because I write” I associate myself with this quote because I believe I grow with books, both mentally and emotionally. Nothing makes me happier than expressing myself through creative writing. Literature is life, and without it, I’m merely a nameless being floating through the sea of humanity. 42 thoughts on “ About me, basically. So i did nominated you for the premio dardos award,.
