The current situation is dominated by the European debt crises. American stocks have tended the follow the news in Europe rather than any of the news here ether political of financial. As long as the European tail wags the American dog it will be difficult to buy individual American stocks. Thus the recommendation presented this week will be based on the fact that Europe seems to be in worse shape we are.
