The Case for a Dancing Heathenry, Part 2. An ecstatic dance how-to →. Valentine’s Day/ Vanadis Day. February 14, 2010. Happy Valentine’s/Vanadis’ Day everyone! In my house, Valentine’s day is one of the most sacred holidays. It’s up there with Walpurgisnacht/May Day, Yule, and the Summer Solstice. And so, in my house, Valentine’s Day is the midwinter holiday of choice. And I call it Vanadis’ Day. I dedicate it to Freyja and Sjofn–the goddesses who have given me my loved ones. Here are some pictures:.

Libations and Incense : An Hellenic Polytheist Writes From The Leopards Labyrinth. Tuesday, March 24, 2015. The Wild Hunt Comment and Other Things I Wish I Had Said. Libations and Incense : An Hellenic Polytheist Writes From The Leopards Labyrinth. Friday, July 27, 2012. Thoughts on the NCAA, Penn State, and Ethics. I don't know about the rest of you; but, I've been thinking about the NCAA's recent ruling regarding the late coach Joe Patierno, Penn State, and ultimately the football team. Now, I will admit up front that I do not watch much football and do not have any favourite teams, either college or professional. I do not have an axe to grind. Carbuncle of the Sun.

Libations and Incense : An Hellenic Polytheist Writes From The Leopards Labyrinth. Saturday, March 30, 2013. Maybe I am just getting old and crochety; however, I can hardly see straight when modern people take over and occasionally subvert another religion's holidays/festivals. The thing that brings this to mind is a recent discussion happening over at the Google Pagan community about what "we" can "get out of Easter.". Give me a f* * *ing break here, for Olympos' sake! Anyway, I am having to replace some titles (too tattered etc.) and I am getting into the early philosophers (the Atomists and pre-Socratics). There is also a lot of newer scholarship out there, so I need to keep up if I decide to become a priestess and neokoroi. Connelly, Joan Breton.
