Multiple Hats: February 2011
http://multiplehats.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 19, 2011. This fantastic group of girls is part of the reason I've had such trouble finding time to blog lately! The season has gone really well. The girls are 20-3 at the end of this title game. As I did a quick memory search, I believe the last time I cut down a District Championship net was almost exactly 20 years ago. Within a week or so, anyway! What great memories these girls are making. Chance was also involved in basketball fever, as one of the managers of the boys' team. I'm s...

Multiple Hats: January 2012
http://multiplehats.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 11, 2012. OK Here it is. My admission of guilt. I realize that I SUCKED at blogging last year. Guilty as charged (Matt! So, I will do my best to make it up. A bit of Restitution, if you will. And, just like criminal restitution, blog restitution comes nowhere close to paying the actual debt. It's really more of a "thought that counts" kind of a thing. Please take a look at the overly long Facebook Year in Review. I'll take the Top 5, and do an "expansion post" each day next week on them.

Multiple Hats: March 2011

Sunday, March 6, 2011. Dinner Question - Up a Notch. So, how do you create more interesting dinner conversation? How do you take it up a notch from that? Add more kids. Their answers are always the most fun anyway! On Friday, when our house was all but overrun by boys, we paused between bites of pizza and asked a dinner question. What is one thing you want to try, but haven't yet? Braden - Ice Skating. Grant - Fly a fighter jet. Ross - Throw a boomerang. In Australia. Brad - Kiss a girl. Nope, just jump.

Monday, November 15, 2010. When you get to spend an hour straight doing this:. Then once you get home, you'll look like this:. Apparently, it even made the dog tired! Thanks, Kangaroo Bounce House! Check them out for your next birthday party or family gathering - especially if you appreciate a quiet house when you get home. Not to mention mile-high ( Colton's. Estimation) bouncy slides, a huge variety of bouncy houses, a clown, concessions, and an indoor facility to host your off-season party. After much...

Multiple Hats: September 2010
http://multiplehats.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Except Matt won't let us eat off them. Once again, a priceless treasure to decorate our home. You are the best! Friday, September 24, 2010. It seems like when we get busy, our life becomes a series of sound bites. Often little thought goes into what comes out of our mouths, which can be both good and bad, and it's the small sound bites while running to-and-fro that stick. Chance - Dad, you just sound like a dork when you say that! Colton - to t...

Multiple Hats: Dinner Question Snippets
http://multiplehats.blogspot.com/2010/03/dinner-question-snippets.html
Friday, March 26, 2010. Dinner question on Tuesday - tell us about your first date? Chance decided it was obviously only for the adults, but I decided to let them speculate on what their first date will be . . . Chance - you mean my second? I'll probably just take her to the movies. Maybe some ice cream. Mostly, I have NO CLUE! Dinner question Monday - if you could teleport. Anywhere in the world for 90 seconds, where would you go? Chance - On the world's tallest roller coaster. If so, what would it be?

Sunday, January 30, 2011. Happy Birthday, Matt! We had a fun day today, celebrating with Matt. We started celebrating in Yakima last night, after the basketball games, with dinner at Outback with Verna and Dennis. Matt left there with two of his very favorite pies, and a very full tummy! In the morning, Matt's first present awaited him on the kitchen counter - a Keurig coffee. Maker Yuppie coffee. YUMMY coffee! That got us headed off to church on the right foot. What kind of mom are you? We're at it again.

Multiple Hats: The lighter side of the fine line
http://multiplehats.blogspot.com/2012/01/lighter-side-of-fine-line.html
Monday, January 9, 2012. The lighter side of the fine line. Of course, in the path between fact or fiction, when dealing with Colton. There are always some quotable quips. As we sat down on the couch, and it began to become clear to Colton. That we somehow knew about his playground antics (keep in mind that no one had told a teacher [hindsight - because there really wasn't anything to tell], and there were only 4 students present), he had a few questions of his own . . . I don't want to tell you! Happily...
