This print was heavily influenced by two things; the way I feel 90% of the time when I'm printing, and one hell of a catchy song by punk rock douche bag GG Allin. Adam Corns is an awesome illustrator from Birmingham who ain’t afraid to show a little grime and texture in his work. He got in touch recently to get a print done for an upcoming show and I was more than happy to help out. Unleash the Beasts is an exhibition of prints inspired by film at The Electric Cinema, which is the oldest working cinema in the UK apparently. Pretty cool. Details on the links below. Another new screen print designed by Rose Stallard and printed on behalf of Tuck Shop London. I think we can all get behind the sentiment of this one. This print features hand painted positives, not a computer in sight! GET BACK ON THE HORSE 3 colour screen print on GF Smith Naturalis White paper, edition of 50. This August saw the return of the Film 4 Summer Screen outdoor cinema at Somerset House, and with it the Summer Screen Print exhibition curated by Print Club London. I was very happy to be asked to do some printing for the event, and even more so when I found out I’d be printing the poster for one of the highlights; the Spike Lee classic, Do the Right Thing. Rose Stallard has totally nailed it with this design, the colours, hand cut lettering and message are all bang on point!

This Saturday at 7:00pm, Pete Astor who fronted both bands is performing a free in-store at Flashback Records in Shoreditch. To celebrate the releases. Pete and band which includes Pam Berry of Black Tambourine, Jack Hayter of Hefner and Susan Milanovic of Feathers will be playing songs taken from both cassettes.
