Often feeling like I had nothing left to give. Tired and worn I reached for the little things that brought me comfort. Sometimes the smallest things can bring you the biggest smile and I have compiled a list of what brought light to a dark, difficult year for me. Weight as of Day One (April 15th): 341.8 lbs. Weight as of today: 335.7 lbs. Weight lost: 6.1 lbs. Total weight lost since March 25th: 19.3 lbs. Every time I look at those numbers, I get so excited. I’m pretty convinced that juice fasting is the greatest thing that ever happened to me! Day two of my juice fast.

4 days on new eating plan…. Well, I haven’t been on line for awhile as I have been busy finalising work before everybody closes for the December holidays, but…. I have been on my new eating plan for 4 days now and I have to admit I am very very impressed. Not once did I get hungry, well that is not entirely true, last night for the first time in the four days I was hungry, and that was because I did not stick to my meal plan. My ideal is 80kg and I hope you will join me on my journey. Till we meet again.

2 : Some thoughts…. I’m still waiting for my eating plan and to be honest, I find my excitement is starting to wane a little. I just hope it comes soon! I need to stay focused and motivated. Another thing – I have no idea why, but I always seem to start a diet just before Christmas. I wonder if this isn’t some deep seated sub conscious part of me that ensures that I do not over indulge in all the fab Christmas goodies. So maybe starting this new lifestyle now is not such a bad idea. Can you believe it?

Discovering new possibilities mile by mile. April 25, 2013. Day one of getting up earlier was a success. I got up at 10:30 instead of my usual 11. Getting to bed earlier, on the other hand, is not going so well. It’s hard working such a weird shift. I’d love to be able to go straight to bed as soon as I get home at 2-3am or whenever it may be, but I’m way too wound up.
