My life at this moment. Skip to primary content. 1,000 hills and 1,000,000 smiles. Crossing the boarder into Rwanda was quick, free, and organized. Yes, I said organized. Four of us, Johannes, Josef, Pim, and I, fit like Tetris in Johannes and Josef’s land cruiser. Through the tinted windows and high shelves I could see a glance of the immensely green rolling hills that make up Rwanda. 8220;The day the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.” -Ghandi. Lake Kivu is BEAUTiful!

Vrijdag 12 juli 2013. Lake Bunyonyi via Kalinzu Forest. De laatste week breekt aan maar eerst nog even over de een na laatste schrijven. Die begon in Kasese, waar ik het laatste stukje schreef en waar we best nog even genoten hebben van de uitzichten op de Rwenzori Mountains. Na een korte wandeling rond Kasese vertrokken we naar "Kalinzu Forest" wat een niet al te grote reis was door het Queen Elizabeth National Park. Onderweg nauwelijks wild gezien maar wel Savanne. Els bij ons "gehandicapte" tentje.

Donderdagochtend vertrokken we al vrij vroeg naar het Murchison Falls National Park met een tour die georganiseerd werd door Red Chili. We zaten in een safari busje met Patrick, onze chauffeur, John uit New York en Melinda uit Houston. Viel dus wel mee hoe vol het busje was en dat was wel fijn. De top of the falls. Zaterdag 23 februari 2013. Ik begin dit bericht als ik in hetzelfde motel ben als ik was toen ik mijn tweede blogbericht schreef. Het is nu een zaterdag in plaats van een zondag. Ik ben hier omdat we gisteren iemand hebben weggebracht naar het vliegveld en vandaag de rest wegbrengen, wordt dus weer een stuk rustiger aan het einde van de dag.
