Adding it all up. Monday, July 14, 2008. Summers past and present. I love summer. Bring on the heat, it doesn't bother me. While growing up I spent summers in the water, usually at Rainbow Gardens. No way. Oil, and lots of it was used to get those deep, dark tans. Without a doubt those long days soaking up the rays contributed to the lovely patterns of spots that now adorn my arms, legs and chest. Ever tried mustard on your popcorn? Summer is half over and already I am sad to know it will end in six weeks.

A few weeks ago we started another adventure series,. The Chronicles of Narnia. By C S. Lewis. These books are easier and move much faster than. Already we have completed. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. On Friday we started. The Horse and His Boy. So instead we all watched the movie version of. The Lion, etc. We're working on it!

We had been warned that the day of surgery would be long even though it was to be done under a local anesthetic. The procedure is basically cut, pathology, cut, pathology, close. Adding it all up. Friday, June 11, 2010. Yesterday was payday again. Total collected: $126.62. Only $2 in paper money, both in last week. Canadian coins: $.34. Collection time: Eight months, one day. Great looking loot and so much cleaner than the stash in New Orleans. We also keep broken coins, international coins, and tokens of varied purposes. Adding it all up. Sunday, February 6, 2011. Our beastly cold weather, along with the cold that turned me into a beast, kept me in the house for about three weeks. I spent much of the time finishing the knitting project that was started after the holidays. I haven't quite decided if I prefer knitting over crochet. They are very different forms of needlework, each with advantages. But oh, I do love the cable knits. A set of BBC dvds that were given to us at Christmas that spurred me to finish them up.
