The lives of Steven, Emily, Sophia and Ava! Monday, March 17, 2014. On March 1st, my sweet Ava Lea turned one year old! We spent the morning relaxing at home and then after the girls naps we went with Noni and Papi to The Gilbert House, had dinner at Applebee's, followed by cupcakes at home. It was a great mellow day to celebrate our sweet girl. We also had a joint birthday party for Ava and Sophia last weekend but that will be a separate post. Here's Ava exploring at The Gilbert House. It has gone by so fast in some ways, yet so slow in other ways (or actually only one way-the sleep deprivation we had for the first 15 or so months of Ava's life-lol). The lives of Steven, Emily, Sophia and Ava! Sunday, December 28, 2014. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Here are a few pics from our Thanksgiving weekend. We started the long weekend with a "Stone Soup Feast" at Sophia's school. It was lots of fun and is always neat to see her interact with her friends and teachers. On Thanksgiving day we hosted Grandma Kathy, Noni, Papi, and Great Susan. Sophia helped set the table and make place cards. And it turns out Ava loves cranberry sauce!
