Sunday, October 28, 2007. Actual knitting content. and Happy Halloween early. Nan and Em going to Trunk or Treat last night at a local church. Irish Hiking Scarf for someone special for Christmas, but can' say who at this point because she reads the blog. Nan's hat on her Christmas List! A hat for Em's Christmas list. One of the two Fawkes socks for Nan's Christmas list. Another pair of Fawkes socks for Em's Christmas (other sock in progress). And the Halloween costumes are gorgeous! Why this week sucked!

Sunday, October 21, 2007. What I did on my Fall Break from school. It took her less than 30 minutes to smack her sister upside the head. 13.5 minutes to be exact! Of course I had to end with a gratuitous dog photo. Ah, kids. Love the colors on her cast though - that is cool! These pictures are a riot! Yes, I will do a post re Soaring Eagles and I've already downloaded a few patterns to knit for you - though I am giving you advance warning that mittens and socks are not my most impressive fo.

Monday, March 26, 2007. I forgot the best news of the Spring Break. We decided that since Mr. Outdoors and I don't go out much and our "entertainment" budget goes untouched each month, that we upgraded our satellite. Programming. Now we get some new good channels for the kids that we approve of, a few movie channels, all of Mr. Outdoors hunting/fishing/manly channels and I GOT DIY. I'm so excited that I can now watch Knitty Gritty! The Yarn Harlot will be on April 17 at 1:00 pm. Uh oh Belated Blogoversary.

I just got the box out of my mailbox about 30 minutes ago! In the package we have peaches n creme in faded denim and shades of green, a recipe for shortbread (yum! Two adorable cookie cutters, and, of course a dishcloth! There's also an instruction page in there. I can't wait to get started! Hey J - You've been tagged!
