1 Why should I cook in my dorm kitchen? There are a number of reasons why you might want to cook in a kitchen. I lived in a double-occupancy dorm room for three years, buying most of my food prepared and living off those leftovers. The most I “cooked” in my room were bowls of cereal and oatmeal. For me, the benefits are saving money and eating healthier – eating out gets expensive, and the food around my campus isn’t the food I’d like to be eating on a regular basis. Where can I find recipes online?

However, I’ve really enjoyed working on my cooking and baking, and sharing it with all of you, so I’m going to try to update as often as I can with new things I’ve made.
