An often growling, at times rabid, culturally reflective periodical. Occasional Blips – 2015 Archive. On January 2, 2015. 2015 Cache dump of thoughts, ideas, and recommendations. An often growling, at times rabid, culturally reflective periodical. Goodbye to the Camp Commander. On February 11, 2015. I lost a good friend and mentor yesterday, my Uncle Robert, who was part of my life since the mid 50’s. He tried to teach me, among other things, how to sail a boat, drive a standard shift, maintain a car, and shoot shotguns and pistols. I say. Tried to teach me. An often growling, at times rabid, culturally reflective periodical. On October 27, 2014. My son and I recently spent a couple of days up at Acadia National Park in Maine. Over that time we had only about 4 hours of sunshine and blue sky, but it didn’t matter. Acadia is beautiful in any weather. We had a great time enjoying the park. These few pictures will hopefully entice you to make the trip when you can. View from Sand Beach. Looking to Sand Beach. Can I live there? Up on Cadillac Mt. Occasional Blip...

Arriving back at the firehouse I noticed a car that wasn’t parked there before. As I got out of my car, a man talking on a cell phone came out of the building and I could hear him reprimanding someone for not doing a good job securing the building before leaving the night before.
