Welcome to The Purple Dwarf Rabbitry! I'm Heather Pickens, and what started in 1985 as an FFA project with a pair of Netherland Dwarfs has turned into a lifetime obsession for me. My very first show was the Del Mar Fair in 1986, and I won Reserve in Show (Youth) with a Siamese Smoke Pearl Buck. I didn't even know what that meant! Took me 22 years, but I finally won my first BEST IN SHOW (Open) on Sept 27, 2008 with a beautiful Siamese Sable doe named Spicy. Queen Creek, Arizona.
