The summer field season is already nearly halfway over! My summer field tech and I have been busy bees out on the refuge, trying to catch, collar, and track antelope jackrabbits! What are those chips? So, like I said, luckily they were able to come out with a winch and tow straps to pop us off the hill. And lesson learned.

Finally, I will write the last post to complete the mini journey involving the Farm, the Beast, and a lot of interstate across the country. On our trip home from Pennsylvania, we stopped in Mississippi and Louisiana to hang out with Luke for a couple of days. For starters, this is a very interesting part of the country. Pretty much, I saw vampires everywhere. Needless to say, there was not an oil glaze on any of our food.
