The Quiltery

Sunday, 15 February 2015. I used to have two lovely golden retrievers, one of whom loved to be the star of my quilt photo shoots. The moment I got out a camera, Oscar was on, or in front of the quilt. Well my golden stars have moved on, and now I a wee tabby cat called Tillie to keep me company on my quilting journey. Today I trimmed by quilted Grand Illusion quilt and put it outside to photograph. Who should pop right along but Tillie. I didn't get a very good photo. I need to get up higher. And some re...

Had but couldn't find the pattern. Only half as many pink blocks as blue. Wonder why? Of course I also wonder what colour will be next. These past few days the Quilt and Craft Fair has been in town. Yay. I went with a list! While pressing backing for t his quilt. The colours are perfect and it is now on the machine. Erin's Cl...

This is my self indulgent rambling blog - please feel free to join me for a while or walk on by. Monday, June 30, 2008. Had a picnic lunch at the local park - Coulthard reserve, this is mid winter but it was a sunny day. This area is still in drought as the level of the lake will show. Realise now have uploaded one picture twice - right clicking on it did not bring up the option to delete . The magpies were appreciative of the tidbits thrown their way. Links to this post. This is my self indulgent rambling blog - please feel free to join me for a while or walk on by. Saturday, January 31, 2009. Why the photos of the bedraggled plants you may well ask? It is a case of the same language being different in Australia and America . Here we refer to these as pot plants, however in America they are called potted plants - pot plants refer to something entirely different - and illegal. So I have been challenged to show my plants to prove my innocence ;). Links to this post. The br...

This is my self indulgent rambling blog - please feel free to join me for a while or walk on by. Saturday, January 24, 2009. Terrible photo, unfortunately it is the only one taken last night at our small family gathering for Grandpa's birthday. It looks like everyone is enjoying their dinner, and that's more important than a great picture. It looks good to me. I like your postcards, they are little works of art. Are really cool.  If green isn't your thing, there are plenty of other colors to choose from. Wednesday, March 19, 2008. The biped aunt just forwarded me this. http://arnoldsdogblog.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 23, 2007. Back from Holiday Camp. Yes, I'm sure you missed me! It seems that the bipeds didn't trust me to stay at home alone while they flitted around the world, so off I went to holiday camp. Actually I'm not too happy with the bipeds at the moment. Not only did they visit with the "Little Bros" but also with the "Big Bros" - without taking me! Some excuse about quarantine - ha! Next time I'm sneaking in their suitcase. Well, off to gargle - I seemed to have lost my voice for some reason.

Friday, September 7, 2007. New office but where's my new office furniture? Sorry I've been so slack with my updates. I've had quite a busy summer and the girl biped took it upon herself to update our Internet connection to something faster - now she doesn't get off the PC. I guess I really need to put in a request for my own. Progress on my new backyard hasn't happened but I'm pleased to report they've finished my new office. The gray walls and nasty carpet are distant memories, Yippee!

Monday, July 23, 2007. It all seemed so innocent. I mean, I'm not the jealous type really - unless it comes to food, that is - but this is different. He was in her life and then he went away. And I really I thought it was forever, but he's back. and her fixation with him has grown stronger. I don't know whether I can stand her relentess displays of affection. Mean, what about me Minnie? Monday, July 16, 2007. Is it just me, or is the sky falling down? The bipeds are getting a new roof! I can smell it.
