Monday, July 20, 2009. Bummer of the week. We were sad when we received notice last week that our favorite doc, Liam's cardiologist (sshhh-don't tell the other docs! Is leaving Vanderbilt Children's to start a private practice in Knoxville. Big, huge bummer. Dr. Michael Liske is the best! Friday, July 3, 2009. Thanks for the cards, phone calls, e-mails, and Facebook messages to check on Liam! We're starting to fall behind on responding to each of them, but he's doing so well! He continues to take Tylenol...

Wednesday, November 19, 2008. At long last- another update! So sorry, folks! A friend e-mailed me asking me to update the blog, and I nearly had a stroke when I logged in this morning and realized how long it had been since I updated it! Once again, there is good reason, though! I started a new job as Director of Counseling Services on a small private university campus in our small town here. That means I'm driving 2 hours less per day. As an added bonus, I love the job (so far! Liam is doing wonderfully!

Thursday, September 25, 2008. Skull surgery date has been set. Liam will have craniosynostosis (skull) surgery on 10/9. This news shouldn't come as too much of a shock to anyone who has been keeping up with Liam using the blog, e-mail, phone, or whatever other method you're using these days (such as good ol' face-to-face conversation! Monday, February 28, 2011. Scan cancelled and surgery scheduled. In other news, we saw ENT today and will do a new set of tubes in Liam's ears and have his adenoids removed on March 30. We knew this was coming, so it's not a surprise. We postponed it for a while to see if his ears would improve on their own, but they aren't and he's not a happy camper with frequent ear pain, so we're moving forward. Friday, June 4, 2010. Prayers for Baby Madison. Liam is doing fantastic, which is why we never post any more! Our two biggest issues right now are his lack of speech (though he is picking up sign language pretty well) and the fact that he can't walk. Sunday, August 8, 2010. I have my fair share of mom guilt for various things, but tomorrow takes the cake! Liam turns 3 tomorrow (woohoo! And we're celebrating by having him casted for his leg braces.
