Wednesday, January 28, 2015. It's Beautiful Day.}. The first few days of this week has brought spring like weather. The kids have pulled out shorts and t-shirts and we have tried to get outside and enjoy it as much as we can, knowing that winter will return soon I am sure! We played " Ladder Toss. Monday, May 18, 2015. Thanks for your emails and prayers, our family appreciate them so much. We have been in Guangzhou since Friday night. This is the city where the U.S. consulate is that will issue Wesley's visa so we can head home. Saturday. Morning was his medical appointment. All went well, the rest of his paperwork came back today from that so tomorrow. Morning is his Visa Interview. Needless to say, we are on the countdown to heading home! It will be so good to be reunited with the boys back home.

Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Last week was the county fair here which equals crazy busy for a few days but the kids hard work paid off. This year they had items in food, photography, quilting and arts and crafts. Our 4-H kids get to sell their food items at an auction each year, here are the kids that evening! Wednesday, December 31, 2014. This Mama's Daybook.}. For the week since Christmas 2014. Snow, brrr. it's a balmy 2 degrees this morning. Our Christmas was spent in a ranch house, graciously provided while Shawn worked in another community. Our day was quiet and wonderful in it's own way. A simple Christmas Tree,. Bicycles ridden on a dirt road and a beautiful sunrise. As I walked the dog on Christmas morning. Christmas on the square in my hometown. I will get our picture added soon! Looking ahead at 2015.

Thursday, August 27, 2015. How do you like to go up in a swing,. Up in the air so blue? Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing. Ever a child can do! Up in the air and over the wall,. Till I can see so wide,. Rivers and trees and cattle and all. Over the countryside—. Till I look down on the garden green,. Down on the roof so brown—. Up in the air I go flying again,. Up in the air and down! This kids put together this swing on the tree in the front yard this weekend! Some rope board= hours of enjoyment!

Monday, November 24, 2014. A birthday celebration a little early.}. Abigayl's birthday is this week and with Thanksgiving, we knew having friends for a party might be hard later in the week. So spur of the moment, we put together a little party with a twist! Abigayl loves to Geocache. And she wanted to take her friends. We dressed warm, packed in the car and headed out for a couple of hours. THe girls were very successful finding "treasures.". 4 out of 5 finds was awesome! Happy Early Birthday Abigayl!

Tuesday, April 28, 2015. How did she get to be 12? It seems like yesterday that I was on bed rest, praying for the sweet baby we were waiting to welcome. She arrived and was taken to NICU where we spent the next 22 days of our lives, waiting for the day she would come home. Wow, so much has happened in life since then. she has grown into a beautiful young woman, an amazing daughter, fun older sister and faithful friend. Poor girl, she had just woke up in the picture above! Lenna loves Bath and Body Works!

Monday, August 03, 2015. For the week of July 27 - August 3, 2015. For August, it isn't bad today, currently in the mid-80's. We were thankful for cooler weather as we picked up trash this morning at the rodeo grounds. I am thinking about. Menu plans, we will be traveling some in the next couple of weeks and will have some long days in the car. Planning out snacks and packable meals to keep the cost down. I am also working to use what we have in the garden and our cabinets/freezer. I am thankful for.
