Kyla's Mum Denise lives in a lovely little town miles from anywhere called Fort Benton, I've always thought that this kind of town is just the type of place to be attacked by a killer swarm of bees or zombie animals or something on some made for TV movie. The Reads in America. Wednesday, 6 August 2008. First day in Missoula. Kyla and Scott have a fabulous house made out of wood (something like in Grand Designs! With lots of land and a fabulous view of the mountains, just what we need after the 'plastic' of Disney. We've had a lovely first day including pancakes for breakfast, swimming in the river and (for me at least) a little nap in the afternoon. The Reads in America. Wednesday, 6 August 2008. Planes, planes and automobiles. Johnny's brother Tim warned us that all our plans wouldn't happen as we expected, so we were thinking of him when we arrived at the airport in Orlando at 7.30 am to hear that our flight to Seattle had been delayed by 12 hours. For two hours we got to the front of the queue and were offered 2 options. A Catch the plane to Seattle at 7.45 pm that evening, stay over night in a hotel in Seattle, and catch a flight to Missoula.
