Aw shucks! I’m Un-Clammed Up. « Kimberly Belle
http://www.kimberlybelle.com/2010/09/aw-shucks-i’m-un-clammed-up.html
Wednesday, September 1, 2010. 2010 has been the summer of bivalves. In July I went clamming in the Hamptons, ate my fill, and still lugged ten pounds of sea-to-table Cherrystone Clams back to my tiny apartment fridge. It took me all night to shuck ‘em, but two days later I was back in brine at the new Mermaid Oyster Bar. I couldn’t get enough, so I made a return trip to the Island with Grandma. Last week to harvest some more. I’m deeply indebted to friends with beach homes (! If ever there was one! We we...

Boston vs. New York « Kimberly Belle
http://www.kimberlybelle.com/2011/12/boston-vs-new-york.html
Thursday, December 1, 2011. Boston vs. New York. I never thought I’d say it. I thought I’d rue the day. It surprises no one more than me, but it is true. I do not miss New York City. It’s been four months since I moved. And no, I haven’t really stayed away. I’ve been back to NYC for weeks at a time each and every month to cater. And cavort with my Tribe. I miss my friends, and I. Miss the food, but each time I get back on that bus to Boston, I’m happy to be headed home? And celebrated my 4-year anniversa...

Kanan dan Kiri: Bullshit Building 5: Yamoussoukro Basilica
http://kananundkiri.blogspot.com/2012/06/bullshit-buildings-5-yamoussokro.html
A blog about my commentaries on movies, books, religions, politics, and military history. Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Bullshit Building 5: Yamoussoukro Basilica. After reviewing bullshit buildings in Europe and Asia, times to move to another continent: Africa! Not to be outdone by the Europeans and Asians, some dictator from this continent also decided to construct their own vanity project. One example is Félix Houphouet Boigny from Cote D'Ivoire/ Ivory Coast. Or the " New South China Mall. The deficit deva...

Spill The Beans « Kimberly Belle

Thursday, August 4, 2011. It’s not just string beans. That are spilling over onto menus this season; I’m bursting at the seams with news of my own. As the August sun starts to sizzle and the summer harvest begins to bloom, it’s time for me to come clean and spill the beans…I’m moving! To Boston (sort of). Mr. Mixologist. But my man and I have just rented a three-story townhouse with a true chef’s kitchen (! In Charlestown, and the prospect of living together leaves me as happy as a Cherrystone clam.

Gardening 101 « Kimberly Belle
http://www.kimberlybelle.com/2012/04/gardening-101.html
Friday, April 27, 2012. Confession: I can cook. But in all my life I’ve never grown a vegetable. An herb garden? But once, and only for two months before my landlord mistook my potted rooftop plants. For that other kind of herb. In truth, my neighbor was. Growing pot in the stairwell beneath his gargantuan cacti that I guess he thought camouflaged his weed. Not so much. One “what’s the opposite of serendipitous? To find all my plants, pots and his pot, gone. Trashed. Upon us, we decided to skip what seem...

Christopher's Big New York Adventure: July 2009
http://cbnya.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Christopher's Big New York Adventure. If I can make it there. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Last night Todd and I met up with some friends at the new beer garden in Astoria, Studio Square. Good beer selection (several Hefeweizen. S, so I was happy) and cool atmosphere. It was a Tuesday night and looked a bit like rain, so it wasn't so crowded. It might be crazier on the weekends. There was also a really good guitar player who knew zillions of Gipsy Kings. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

the BONEY and SACHMO show: March 2010
http://theboneyandsachmoshow.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The BONEY and SACHMO show. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. How one little decision can affect a day. 0850- Get up. Hungry. Decide to eat one (1) pineapple. It tastes so good, how can this go wrong? 0903-That was one (1) delicious pineapple. 0957- First "Rumble in the Bronx". No not that one. 1128- Rumbling slowing, yet a vague sense of unease permeates the morning. 1208-Vague sense of unease is no longer the only thing permeating this morning. The Bronx rumbles again, the dog puts on her gas mask. I think it's ...

Monday, October 26, 2009. Fall Food, Fashion & Farmhouses, by Erin. While this past summer may have proved quiet and lazy for some, The Dinner Belle. Has been working non-stop, steadily growing our client base and consistently catering events through the hottest months, leading up to our busiest fall season yet! What sort of events, you may ask, could possibly top Topshop. While I may look back fondly. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Over the sunshine season, Kimberly. We were also thrilled to add The S...
