http://justletmeread.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 30, 2008. I was able to purchase a lovely little book with a bunch of day hikes within the Taipei area. On Sunday, my housemates and I set out to actually accomplish one of the day hikes. Being the adventurous, spontaneous group we are, we started with day trip #1 to Seven Star Peak in Yangmingshan National Park. Yangmingshan National Park is firmly against Burning Man. Either that or the devil. I couldn't decide. The housemates and I at the top of Seven Star Peak. The hike up consisted of m...

Sunday, March 29, 2009. I'll miss you Grandpa. The dead are always looking down on us, they say. While we are putting on our shoes or making a sandwich,. They are looking down through the glass bottom boats of heaven. As they row themselves slowly through eternity. They watch the tops of our heads moving below on earth,. And when we lie down in a field or on a couch,. Drugged perhaps by the hum of a long afternoon,. They think we are looking back at them,. Which makes them lift their oars and fall silent.

Tai-where: Behold the Modern Toilet
http://justletmeread.blogspot.com/2009/05/behold-modern-toilet.html
Saturday, May 23, 2009. Behold the Modern Toilet. If being reminded of what your food looks like when it comes out while it's going in is your thing, then man-o-man is this the restaurant for you. Labels: eating poop themed things. Looks like they skimp when they serve you food in the western toilet bowl. There is a pan on top of the bowl, so not the entire bowl is filled with food. Details like that are very important. I'm not going to lie, this sort of triggered a gag reflex. Follow me on Twitter.
