Life is tradeoffs, not risk diversification. Posted on Aug 17, 2011 2:15:00 PM by Jeremy Crane. I've been thinking a lot lately about decisions and choices. I was chatting with a young startup enthusiast recently and they made a comment that struck me. It was something along the lines of "kill yourself for a few years now and you'll be set for life later.". To make it a viable business. Subscribe to Email Updates. I ski, I bike, I like fast companies, and love my family. Product Managers, turn a weakness into a strength. Posted on Mar 15, 2012 9:08:00 AM by Jeremy Crane. Much to my chagrin I do not code. Somewhere in the archives of my brain is some C I learned back in the stone age (late 90's) but that's about it. I certainly understand the value in knowing how to code at least at a basic level as a Product Manager. I have a long ways to go however. Don't hate the player or the game. I get it, startups are hard
http://www.therecoveringmba.com/2011/07/i-get-it-startups-are-hard
I get it, startups are hard. Presenting a new product to the board of directors at a fortune 100 company. That's hard. Getting 50,000 global employees excited about a turn around as a new CEO of a struggling multi-national corporation. That's hard. Successfully launching a new consumer package goods brand. Thats hard. Finding a way to profit on margins so thin you can shave with them. That's hard. Manufacturing an automobile that someone making $30,000 a year can afford to buy. That's hard. The Recovering Legalist
August 5, 2015 · 6:06 pm. Hiding In Plain Sight. Back in 2010 (I think) I wrote a post that later became the basis for a story in my book,. Life Lessons from the School Bus. If you don’t yet have a copy (you can order one by clicking on the picture), the following story, “Stop #13,” can be found on pages 45-46. The reason that I am sharing it with you now is because today was the “kick off” day for our local school bus drivers. The most important and most repeatedly-stressed point was. It had been hiding.

Helping pessimists see the bright side of life without losing their half empty roots. Staying Ready in 2017. Image via Chaitra of ItsPinkPot.com. To continue my tradition of creating yearly themes, I come to you with my theme for 2017 (click here. For past years’ posts). This year’s theme began as a joke between my friends and I because I hate surprises. Over time, this phrase evolved into a personal mantra. The Recovering Pharisee
Tuesday, October 5, 2010. There is a saying that I like.It is an acronym actually: KISS.Keep It Simple Stupid. I know that it is not politically correct but it is very appropriate for me to use on myself. I have a tendency to make things complicated. To over analyze and over emphasize and over everything that I do or think. I am just finishing a book by Brian McLaren. Called The Secret Message of Jesus. Be salt and light in the world - by doing good works. Give to the poor, pray, and fast secretly. Don't...
