Sunday, May 24, 2015. Springtime around our Home. Some views from around our home. I love this front porch. It is so peaceful. Green grass, bushes that have gained color, and new sprouts are all a sign that Spring is really here. My boys picked this hanging basket for Mother's Day for me. It is beautiful. A freshly tilled garden. It looks much different now. I will have to take some new pictures and show you how much it has grown. A sign that summer is coming! Flowers, and flags. Our oldest son, has always needed more reassurance compared to his younger brother. He needs that "you've got it" words of wisdom on a daily basis to feel confident in his decisions and actions. We thought baseball may help build his confidence and self - esteem so we tried it out this year. After it was finished he said "That wasn't so bad! 3 It's ok to loose. Part of his l...

Thursday, May 14, 2015. Mix-N-Match Spring Table Setting. Soon to today's post. I've had this pale yellow and blue combination on our dining room table since a little before Easter and I have enjoyed it so much. I decided to get out my mismatched dishes and make a table setting to show you all. Pretty much everything on the table is second-hand treasures (including the table and chairs themselves). These sweet little lanterns were a thrift store find for $2 each. I think they were originally from Tar...

These are the "before" photos.). Same routine with the trim around the front door, she primed, I caulked, she put the top coat on. This little alcove had never received it's coat of tan paint, nor had the trim been addressed. She put the first coat of tan on, I did the 2nd coat, I ...
