Thursday, December 22, 2011. We have a 2 year old in the house! Though Eloise had been showing signs of being TWO since the summer, she is now official on December 15th. We had a fun birthday party decorating cookies for the holidays complete with aprons (made by Bode! And a Santa cake! Eloise loves her new baby! Thanks Aunt Trudy for the baby. Friday, April 20, 2012. Easter Weekend was filled with multiple egg hunts and a great Sunday brunch. Hope you all had a great weekend with friends and family. Eloise class egg hunt (took about 5 minutes for them to complete). Parker's class egg hunt. They were assigned a number and had to search only for that numbered egg. This was great b/c the egg hunt lasted a lot longer! Good Friday at the Park with Cousins! This is their bunny impressions. Easter morning - the hunt for their baskets is on.

Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Parker's first field trip. Parker and his class had a a park day on Monday. It was the first time I got to fill out a permission slip. I know cheesy but I can't believe how big he is getting). They lucked out with a beautiful day and so Eloise and I joined them for lunch. Class checking out the ducks in the pond. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Douglas and I completed a Cessna Discovery Flight as I recently learned he would like to get his private pilot's license. Okay.why not! Not really...

Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Apparently she needed to get some things off her chest! Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Parker turned 4 years old on Monday! He is so excited to be 'big' and measures himself everyday to see if he has grown! He has brought so much joy to our lives! We love you handsome! His teachers made him a crown for the day. Oh and he was line leader- -such a sought after position at preschool. Next up - hall monitor! Superhero Birthday party- -Batman Family! Next year.double doozie!

Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Our trip to Puerto Rico. Over the New Years holiday we took the kids to Puerto Rico and LOVED it! Our trip started in Old San Juan touring the old town and staying at El Convento which we highly recommend. The old town was wonderful to walk and experience. Our favorite of the trip was flying kites at El Morro fort (pictured above). Oh well, who wants to get sand on their camera anyway? Enjoy and no comments on bathing suit photos :). Thursday, September 8, 2011. First Day of School. Let the school year begin! Parker is off to Pre-K and Eloise is off to experience school for the first time. Parker tripled checked with me that it was a 'no moms day', right? I told him actually it was NO KIDS day for me! Saturday, February 26, 2011. Recap since last post. So I realize it has been FOREVER since I last posted and I am so sorry. Everyone is keeping busy between work, school, skate, socer and eloise being eloise! Here are some photos to recap the last month. Podge and Jan came to visit and do a belated Christmas. Thank you for the fun and the wonderful gifts! This was a beautiful weekend playing outside then . . . Ice storm and snow came early February! It was fun for the first two days. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Mt Bachelor and a Canoe Trip. We visited Mt Bachelor and took the chair lift to Pine Marten Lodge for lunch and site seeing. I was slightly nervous with both kiddos on the chairlift with us but they did great. The ski season was actually extended this year and they opened the Summit for 4th of July Weekend only to ski. We missed it by a few days but at least we got to play a little in the snow. View of Broken Top from Top of Mt Bachelor. Parker was my assistant. Park Day and more!
