The Game: Feudal Frenzy. Feudal Frenzy is a competition for survival between two robots. The rounds are 2 min. long and the robots operate autonomously receiving inputs only from mounted sensors and a central Vision Position System. At the start of a round, the robots are encouraged to explore new territories with each new territory explored int the first 10 seconds earning a robot 30 points. After 10 seconds, the robots receive 10 points for each new territory entered. Strategy I: Circle Clockwise.

If you're not careful, wiring up a lego robot can quickly turn into a rat's nest of cables leading to and from places, completely untraceable. While designing the robot, we tried to keep this in mind, keeping wires neat, short, organized and out of the way. The battery housings were designed to both securely hold the batteries during robot operation and allow easy removal for charging. The battery housings are slightly diagonal slots in the robot that the batteries can slide in and out of.

What we wish we had known. A lot of what you need to figure out is on the 6.270 site or in the posted lecture notes. Taking your own notes in lecture is always good, but for those times where it just doesn't quite end up sinking in or maybe you have to run out because of a surprisingly long lasting bloody nose, the posted lecture slides/notes are well written and very comprehensive.
