Knowing the state of the current horror movie business, a lot of people would guess that this film would resort to the formula of ‘quiet… quiet… quiet… BIG LOUD SOUND EFFECT WHICH MAKES YOU JUMP BUT ISN’T CREEPY AT ALL’ but considering this is one of my favourite horror films of all time, there must be something they were doing right. Crazy Man Movie Reviews. I do crappy reviews for random movies. It’s review time! In the film, they do learn to fly and when they are flying through the sky, you can clearly tell they are using a green screen and it doesn’t look all that great. However, to make up for this some of the shots, when Andrew uses his powers to make the camera float, look very good and are very inventive. I know this review has been short, but there’s not all that much more say. I thought Chronicle was great. August 16, 2014.

Crazy Man Movie Reviews. I do crappy reviews for random movies. To put it simply, I have a soft spot for found footage movies. A lot of them are very gimmicky but as you heard from my Blair Witch review, I do think that they can have some merit if the found footage technique is used correctly to benefit the film; which this does.
