Bill and Traci: 48 Hrs in the City by the Bay
http://billandtraci07.blogspot.com/2010/09/couple-of-weeks-ago-i-was-asked-to.html
Sunday, September 12, 2010. 48 Hrs in the City by the Bay. A couple of weeks ago, I was asked to travel to California for work. The trip was scheduled for about 48 hours and we would be within 30 minutes of San Francisco. As most of you know, I am all about getting the most out of my travels especially if they are free. :-). Our plane landed on Monday about 5pm and we had about 2.5 hours of daylight to hit all the major landmarks in the city. As our plane was descending. The view from twin peaks. Since w...

http://billandtraci07.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 11, 2009. Royal's home opener 2009. This year's home opener has already come and gone. Friday, April 10th was not only Good Friday but also the opening day for the Kansas City Royals. Every year one of our dear friends has access to a handful of tickets to opening day that includes a pre-game party, T-shirt and a ticket to a future Royals' game. This year a handful of tickets were reserved for fellow Cerner peeps and friends. Bill, Scott, Bryan, Julie and Sarah "Cerner Peeps". Regardless ...

Bill and Traci: Gone Fishin'
http://billandtraci07.blogspot.com/2010/10/gone-fishin.html
Sunday, October 10, 2010. It has been several years since I have been fishing. As a matter of fact, the last time was off of the San Clemente pier. A couple of weeks ago my buddy Kevin and I decided to do a men only weekend in Branson, Mo which included lounging around and fly fishing. A meal fit for a king - Burnt Ends. Here comes the sun. The start of our adventure. Once we arrived at Brett's, we spent about 20 minutes on his front lawn going over fly fighing techniques and suiting up in our waders....

http://billandtraci07.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2009. The garden has finally begun producing edible produce. We picked a couple dozen cucumbers and a handful of peas and banana peppers. The tomatoes are getting close and watermelon are not far behind. The Peas looking very healthy. Our 16 stalks of corn. The watermelon taking over the yard. If you lived in K.C. we would share the bounty with you! Posted by Bill and Traci. Need a vacation from my vacation. Day two found us at the Kansas City Zoo. We saw every single animal in the ...

Bill and Traci: September 2010
http://billandtraci07.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Rooting for the other side. I did something that I never thought I would do in my lifetime. I not only went to a KU football game but I rooted for them. And not just the "let's go KU. clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap" it was a full on Waving the Wheat and high fiving all the other crazies. Our walking journey was coming to an end and the stadium lay before us in all her glory. I was getting pretty jazzed about the game and Tom was texting loving words to his wife so ne...

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Our garden part duex. Traci and I spent a few nights over the past couple of weeks getting our garden started. We planted some of the same things that we did last year plus a few new ones. We started the following from seeds and clumps of "stuff"- Watermelon, strawberries, onions, cucumbers, snow peas, and corn. Tomatoes, bell peppers, peppers and some watermelon were started a few weeks ago in the house. The garden is in the back corner of the yard. Where all the magic happens.

Bill and Traci: January 2009
http://billandtraci07.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 25, 2009. Today I came to three realizations:. 1 I am not as fast as I used to be. 2 I am not in as good as shape as I used to be. 3 Going to a run alone sucks! As most of you know, I love to run. For most of my life, I was pretty OK at running and could go at a pretty good pace for some distance. I would get into how far I used to run and how fast I used to go but it would get boring pretty quick. So why am I writing about this? I arrived at the caves around 8am and signed in for the 5k ...

Bill and Traci: February 2009
http://billandtraci07.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 8, 2009. This past Friday, Traci and I took a drive out to the Lake House in Lake Lotawana to watch the band Alter Ego. Play The crowd was mix of business folks, a church group and some locals looking to swill some beer. Joy, the lead singer, works with me at Cerner and we make every effort to get out and watch them from time to time. They play classic Rock and Roll and were the band that played at our Kansas City wedding reception. Alter Ego in action. Joy's better 1/2 and Traci. Next s...
