The PT and OT (occupational Therapist) says he is doing too well to go to rehab! He will be going straight home! We may have some home health help, along with outpatient therapy, or home therapy. He can take the body brace off to sleep, and a little time when just sitting quiet in a chair. Walking is also really good for him, so we will do more, and longer walks - today's walk being almost 3 miles! Physical therapy is still a long way off, as is work. We hoped that perhaps he could take off back brace some now. But is not to be! He still has to wear it for (at least) 3 more weeks. Our Journey To Forever. April 5, 2012. We have been busy this past week enjoying all the Easter. Festivities . I love holidays, so anytime I get the chance to celebrate, we do! I put together a little Easter Egg Hunt with my Mommy friends at the park today. It was a really fun day. Our 10 kids under the age of 4. And our sweet little babies! He tells us that my neck is still in the healing process, but is stable enough to not need the brace any longer.
