Heron News Spring 2016. Riverside students understand how to apply their learning and leadership skills outside of the classroom. Student-led assemblies, cross-grade mentoring and daily cooperative school cleanup all help to cement the school community. Service projects and current events discussions help connect the school to the local community, the nation and the world. Students practice community participation and plan to use what they have learned to enhance the world around them.

The Barn at Riverside. THE BARN AT RIVERSIDE - A Community Gathering Space. Our barn was raised to share with the people, businesses, and organizations of the Northeast Kingdom. Good food to put you in a good mood. We offer some catering, also we are a great place to hold special events. Every day we run new specials for breakfast lunch and dinner. Schedule an event or ask us a question. Riverside Restaurant takes pride in serving fresh made to order food we offer different ethnic dishes. Friendly fun courteous staff that makes your meal enjoyable. We recently opened our restaurant and since then we managed to have only the best reviews for our menus.

The Riverside Restaurant overlooks the winding River Great Ouse and has it's own terrace and garden. Open Monday to Saturday serving Lunch from 12 noon and Dinner from 6.30pm. Viv was born in Alnwick, Northumberland and attended the Duchess's School where she was inspired by her art teacher Anna Watson and her love of art and music. From there she completed a foundation course in art and design at Leicester Polytechnic and gained a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design, specialising in illustration, at the Lanchester Polytechnic, Coventry.
