Wow, it’s been a while since I updated this thing! Remember me, guys? I’m posting today for a couple of reasons. First, I never told you guys how my exchange surgery went. March 01, 2010. Another quick note from the not so frozen north. We're getting rain this week, suggesting that mudseason may, if only temporarily, be fast approaching. Chinese new years was fun. We had a gaggle of people over for dumpling making and telephone pictionary, and, I think, a good time was had by all. Saturday, August 8, 2015. CHAPTER 1: IN WHICH WE ENCOUNTER A SUPERHERO. Day 1: Atlanta, GA to Marion, IL. Montgomery County Courthouse, restored after severe damage in 1999. Had we not stumbled across a historic marker referencing the horrific event, we would not have guessed that in 1999, an F-3 tornado, with winds in excess of 200 mph, destroyed much of downtown Clarksville. Rebuilding efforts have restored or reconstructed most of the 500 structures decimated by the storm. On the Trail of Discovery.
