Wednesday, December 28, 2011. On Sunday, December 11th, my Aunt Sonja passed away from complications of leukemia. I was sad to receive the news, but happy to know she was no longer suffering! She was a wonderful Aunt and will always be remembered for that! McKinley and I were fortunate to be able to fly out to Asheville, North Carolina to attend her funeral in Franklin, North Carolina. Friday, March 30, 2012. Our sweet little McKinley is 19 months old, and we couldn't love her anymore! At 19 months, her vocabulary is ever expanding, the list is probably too long to write out every word on here! She loves getting out of the house and going places. Monday, November 5, 2012. We've had a great October, and we loved all that it brought for our family! We enjoyed the cooler temps by breaking out the warm footed jammies! Monday, November 5, 2012. We had a frighteningly good Halloween this year! To start out the festivities we carved pumpkins! Thursday, August 11, 2011. I was playing around with McKinley's hair today and thought it might be long enough to put a pony tail in it. So we went to the store and got some tiny, elastic hair ties and tried it out! The only place on her head that there was enough hair to tie into a pony tail was on the top of her head. Thursday, October 11, 2012. Fall Leaves and Meme visits! As I've mentioned before, we love fall! One of my favorite parts of fall is the beautiful leaves and fall colors! Lincoln has had some beautiful colors this fall! My Mom came to visit for a week and while she was here we drove around and took pictures of the leaves (must be where I get my love of fall leaves). We also went to Pioneers Park and let McKinley play and take pictures of some of the pretty trees there! McKinley liked having Meme around!
