Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Are We Ready for Broadway? Starting this past summer, every Wednesday afternoon, we head up to the church for Harrison's choir practice. All of his efforts paid off because he did a wonderful job singing in the church Christmas pageant this Saturday. Even if he doesn't end up inheriting the lovely singing pipes of his grandparents/aunts/uncles, we are so proud of him for standing up in front of a large group of people and having fun singing! The Carter Family: Thanksgiving in Florida

Saturday, December 5, 2009. We spent several days at Poppy and Car Car's house in Florida over the Thanksgiving holiday and were so blessed to spend valuable time with many family members and friends. The California Eschens even came in for a few days, it was so wonderful to see them! We did most of our usual activities there, a visit to the Homossassa Wildlife Park and lots and lots of football, eating, and playing outside. Harrison and Avery love the Wildlife Park! Saturday, August 15, 2009. Are you asking yourself, you mean, besides choo choos? Yes, we have new obsessions! Avery actually is in love with all animals, but she calls them all doggies. She can say "kitty," "duckie," and "bird" so she'll call those by their right names, but every other animal is a doggie, whether it's a horse, sheep, elephant, monkey, pig, or alligator. Tuesday, March 10, 2009. First Signs of Spring. We have been having lots of fun these past two days in this 80 degree weather. Hard to believe it snowed last weekend! We dusted off the ole Radio Flyer and took it out for a spin, it was Avery's first wagon ride. It was a hit with both kids! Harrison loves having a buddy to ride with now. Harrison totally has the hang of pedaling his tricycle now. He can really get some speed going on that thing! Sunday, March 1, 2009. And LOTS of it! She is still crawling...

Saturday, January 30, 2010. Perhaps.but only after eating three-day-old pizza and watching "Tommy Boy" for the 12th time. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. We spent a very relaxing few days in Montgomery for Christmas with the Carters and the extended family. Harrison and Avery were REALLY into the whole thing this year, wanting to rip all of the presents open right away! It was hilarious. We all had a lot of fun with Nana, Papa, Jeff, and Caitlin (Ka Ka)! Look what Santa brought! He is the best present ever!
