So Blessed - the Monroe Family's Journey: September 2013
http://themonroefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 18, 2013. I Don't Got This. Bear with grammatically incorrect title. I wish I had time to write every blog post that came to my mind. It happens almost everyday. So for the next few minutes I will ignore the to do list and share a simple thought. I am thankful for the wisdom that has come through age and experience. We talked about Galatians 5 - the Fruits of the Spirit. She said, "After reading that for the first time, I thought 'That's impossible! No one can be all of those things!

So Blessed - the Monroe Family's Journey: Disney Day 6 - Epcot
http://themonroefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2014/04/disney-day-6-epcot.html
Monday, April 21, 2014. Disney Day 6 - Epcot. On Saturday, it was time to go to Epcot. Our last day at the parks. In an effort to get Mya to 40 inches, we tried putting Mya's hair as high as possible. LOL. Epcot was having their Flower Festival. The flowers were gorgeous! We took a few minutes to walk through the Tinkerbell Butterfly Garden. Then it was time to use the Soarin' Fast Passes! We were not beyond stuffing Mya's shoes to get her on. Definitely one of our favorite rides! Back to Mary Poppins.

So Blessed - the Monroe Family's Journey: Homeschool Wrap Up
http://themonroefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2014/05/homeschool-wrap-up.html
Friday, May 23, 2014. On May 14th, we wrapped up our 3rd year of homeschooling. I feel like such a newbie to the homeschooling world, but I guess 3 years counts as experience! This year was our first official year of reporting though. Overall, this year was great. While everyday wasn't a load of fun, Addison did a great job of getting her work done and rarely ever complained about school. Chad and I turned out fine, right? No one will ever care about your child's character more than you will.". Abeka - e...

So Blessed - the Monroe Family's Journey: Lucy's 1st Birthday!
http://themonroefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2014/07/lucys-1st-birthday.html
Monday, July 28, 2014. 3rd kid - I got it. Her birthday was almost 2 months ago. Moving on. For Lucy's first birthday we happened to be at the beach with my family. Not a bad place to spend your birthday! The party was not a Pinterest spectacular. It was a run to Publix, open a few present, then head out for your cousins to ride go-carts. Here are some things she has accomplished in her first year:. Has been to 16 states. Has been on 11 airplanes. Been to The Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic. Preferred sl...

So Blessed - the Monroe Family's Journey: Disney Wrap Up
http://themonroefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2014/04/disney-wrap-up.html
Monday, April 21, 2014. Sunday was an amazingly relaxing day. We had thought about going to a Braves Spring Training game. It was probably a good decision to just hang out at the resort. The girls just love the pool and having another entire day to swim was great for them. Lucy loving the pool! This is why you need to plan an extra day at the end of your Disney Trip. Worth the money to have a day to just play and relax before going home. Heading home is always bittersweet! Mya loves the safety cards.

Saturday, October 5, 2013. Lucy - 4 months! Crazy - Lucy is 4 months old! The saying is so true: the days are long, but the years fly by. What Lucy is up to:. Not sure what she is up to - I can't make her 4 month well baby check due to the govt shutdown. Thanks Congress! Smiling and cooing a lot! Eyes are still blue! Still likes to be swaddled, but occasionally gets her arms out. No rolling around just yet, but she can get on her side. Eating schedule: 8:00 or 8:30 (I normally wake her up at 8:30). Is ve...

Toone Family Journey: Breaking the Silence...
http://toonefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2015/04/breaking-silence.html
We created this blog to document our journey into parenthood. We are adopting a child from Ethiopia and invite you to follow along. Sunday, April 19, 2015. It's been awhile. Over a year in fact. To look back at how long my pen has been silent on this blog is startling. The time flew and yet it crept. So much change has happened in our lives. My Daddy is gone. We have a son! Life has cycled through. A death, then a birth. I was living each day in miserable agony. Thank you for following.Welcome back.
