Tuesday, October 5, 2010. State Fair of Texas. Mama, Oma and I went to the State Fair today. It was so much fun! First, we had to go see the Star of the State Fair: Big Tex! I learned about him in school. There were so many fun things for kids! And, of course, I had to eat a corn dog. That's a must at the Fari! What a great day!

We have a volunteer group from BP that comes once a month to do activities with or for our patients. This month we put them to work decorating fumpkins (faux pumpkins- thank you KB for that word! To make them resemble popular children's book characters. Here's how it goes. First choose your characters-. Glue on some felt, pipe cleaners, and Model Magic to create the character!

A great WordPress.com site. April 30, 2013. It’s been almost a month and a half since I first came here. Overall things are going well. Carter started at St. Lukes. After a rocky first day with a shoe tying incident, he says he really likes it. Apparently at St. Aloysius, kids there wouldn’t play with you if you weren’t a UK fan! Josh had his first day at Johnstones yesterday. Just orientation in Cincinnati which was mentally exhausting for him. He said today is better. March 23, 2013. March 5, 2013.
