AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE WE WILL SERVE THE LORD. Monday, May 18, 2009. My friend Jenn and one of her friends and I decided to take the kids (Camden was at school) to a strawberry patch and pick our own berries. It was very hot and the mosquitos were already out! We picked ALOT of berries. 11 pounds worth to be exact. So I made some jam with most of them and the kids ate all the rest. Walking out to the patch! This is small for some reason! All the kids. (minus the two babies). Owen, with the perfect berry!

The Newell Adventures: September 2009
http://newelladventures.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE WE WILL SERVE THE LORD. Thursday, September 10, 2009. On June 30th, we moved into our Alabama home. It was a great move with nothing damaged. The kids were really into helping the movers. So they would give the kids little things to carry from the truck to the house. Here come my little movers! Maybe we should just do this ourselves since the kids like helping so much. (no way). Emma would direct the movers where to take things, most of the time she was correct. We arrived to six f...

The Swenson Scene: February 2012
http://theswensonscene.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 26, 2012. We visited the pet store, or "The Free Zoo" as I like to call it, a week ago. Turns out it wasn't so "free" this time. Adam was so excited about the animals, that we decided to go ahead and take the plunge. Don't worry, we started out with a pretty shallow fish bowl for a betta fish that Adam picked out himself. Introducing.Gilbert (we call him Gill for short). I tried to get Adam to pick the blue one, but he was pretty set on this red one. The proud fish owner! It was a low-ke...

Monday, May 14, 2012. Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week and we are SO thankful for Adam's wonderful teachers. They have been a huge blessing for our family. Step 1: Make the cookies. Adam has been so into cooking lately. He likes it so much that he often doesn't want to be done. The other day, we finished making a recipe for pulled pork and Adam said, "I want one more ingredient.Milk! It took me a while to explain that this recipe did not call for milk and that it would make it taste yucky. Thursda...

The Swenson Scene...Life Goes On: Happy Halloween!
http://theswensonscene2.blogspot.com/2012/11/happy-halloween.html
The Swenson Scene.Life Goes On. Friday, November 2, 2012. This was our best Halloween yet! As the kids get older and more aware of what's going on, we have so much fun. Adam decided to be a monkey again this year (I think because he saw pictures from last year and thought it was cool) and he also decided that his sister would be a butterfly again. Luckily, both costumes still fit (close enough), so we were in business. She loves wearing her costume! Have to stop for a photo. They used their buckets t...

AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE WE WILL SERVE THE LORD. Wednesday, March 10, 2010. We usually do not make a big deal out of Valentine's day but this year Owen and Emma's class had a party and we decorated cookies at home. Camden ate his cookie before I was able to take a picture of it. Owen and Emma's class at their party. The party table in the cafeteria. Owen with his friend Benjamin. Owen being frustrated that I was interrupting his lunch. Neal, Rebecca, Camden, Owen, Emma and Callie. Tuesday, March 9, 2010.
