http://kimberlyevansyoung.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 30, 2010. So I am 29 weeks this week and have been feeling pretty good. I am definitely feeling a bit large and in charge, but I know that it is to be expected and that i ain't seen nothin' yet. Thankfully, it hasn't been too warm yet, so although I am getting bigger by the week, swelling hasn't been too big of an issue yet. Key word here being yet :). Please stay this way! Let's hope little mister stays put and doesn't try to get ahead of himself in the coming weeks. A fun note, this weeke...

Saturday, February 15, 2014. He taught me how to roar. These might seem like every day occurences to you but for me they are THE details. Details that in 6 months will seem so insignificant but they are huge in our everyday . They are the lines on my page. They are the memories that make really hard days, a snap. They are the details that make me weep when they fade and when the kids stop doing them. And then it's like another month or two and I'm like, "wait! We have to do this every week! Whit and I ha...

Tuesday, March 25, 2014. When they told us we were pregnant back in 2010 it confirmed what I doubted all those years. It even confirmed what I had doubted over the previous 48 hours. The only thing I could think of was, "is this real? So when they told us it was twins, that was it, you could have just closed this book, I was happy for a lifetime. But when they said,"we see a third." That was a game changer. The tech said well baby A is a boy. She then worked pretty hard to see B. Keep in mind tha...I'm w...

Monday, July 7, 2014. I want their breath to be taken away in ten years when they step back into a fresh spring fed pool because they remember that day their mom and dad woke up and said "let's road trip today. ". He made it look so easy. So last year I started a brunch, everyone is invited, whoever is in town. It's our own tradition and it has developed into this kid filled, mimosa bar having, America the beautiful song singing morning of flag waving good. Hope your holiday was perfect. Happy July!

the shep trips: April 2014
http://sheptrips.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 28, 2014. Well it's the end of April and I'm finally feeling like I'm crawling out from under the rock of my event. The air is warm, the birds are chirping and I've spent a lot more time with my kids than in past months. Maybe we just haven't "wanted" to subject ourselves to such chaos? Maybe the task has just seemed overwhelming so we work around any overnight stays. I don't know why we never did it, but we have now. We were piled in beds, clobbered by toddlers but by 10pm everyone was asl...

the shep trips: June 2013
http://sheptrips.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 30, 2013. I think in a world of hard lessons, struggles and heartache- kindness goes a long way. But in this article it talked about the successes of children who had been taught kindness- how they were so successful, educated and overall in great life positions. I think we all strive to give our kids the very best- lets start with giving them kind hearts. Have a good week everyone. Sunday, June 30, 2013. Thursday, June 27, 2013. Isn't that what blogging is all about? 1 cup diced red grapes.

Life as I know it. Opinions, random thoughts and everything else about my life. Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Little man went in for his 15 month check-up last week and here are his stats:. Weight: 27.2 - 80% percentile. Height: 33.5 inches - 96% percentile. Head: I think 42% percentile but didn't pay that much attention to the head. If he stays on target, he's set to be 6ft 2in! He certainly didn't get his height from me! In other news, we're going on a couples retreat in February. OK. The newest addition ...
