And Then, She Said...
And Then, She Said. Monday, June 17, 2013. Here I Go Agaiiin! As if excitement over the Garry Bjorklund, our anniversary, and our first camping trip of the year this weekend wasn't enough, I added a bit more fun and excitement:. Marathon #2. After hemming and hawing over plans after this weekend, talking with my coworkers today (and a tweet informing me the race was 90% full and filling fast) pushed me over the edge. Let the games begin! Thursday, May 30, 2013. And So, It Goes.". Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
The Runner
What were you expecting? What were you expecting? I’m a Pelican who lives in Oceanside California. I hang out at the pier and watch people all day. Some people are kind others are not. Fish because they are very tasty. Sitting on a rail watching people. Taking a selfie with humans in the background. Whale watching, in my opinion whales are happy in the Ocean but NOT at Sea World. People calling me “Pete the Pelican”. Humans pestering me, you can look but please don’t touch. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

The Runner Hi | The journey to 26.2 with Type 1 Diabetes
The journey to 26.2 with Type 1 Diabetes. Week 8: What a Pain in My Shin. August 17, 2015. August 17, 2015. Well, I’m injured. And it sucks. I felt like I was starting to get better and then that nagging shin pain from last week turned into a full-fledged ouch after my 13.1 miles yesterday morning. Frozen corn will do! Friday and Saturday were rest days, and I fully took advantage of those. I don’t remember having any crazy pain or anything like that. My kitty thinks my running accessories are cool haha.

The Runner Inside
A blog about a girl trying to figure out what to do in this world. Monday, May 2, 2011. Running Myself = My Character? When you think of a runner what is the first thing you think of? That they're atheletic, crazy, have bad knees, or are wearing awesome shoes? I use to think the same things, then I became a runner. Becoming a runner was one of the hardest, yet best decisions I've ever made in my life (crazy, right? During all of these sleepless nights, midnight McDonald runs, and slight dip in personal h...
