Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Pranks and the cutest visitors! My brother Kyle and his family came and visited a couple weeks ago and we had such a good time. The kids helped me prank my sister-in-law by putting googly eyes on everything in her fridge. We also took glow in the dark ones and put them on her bedroom windows and on the soap, shampoo, etc. in her bathrooms. Ha! Don't you think all things look cuter with eyes? Monday, June 8, 2015. 7 Years With My Best Friend. Seven years ago today I said "I do" to my best friend in front of all our family and friends. It's hard to believe that 7 years ago we started this journey of marriage. I have learned so much since then and am so glad we are seven years into it :). He chose the beginning of our celebration by target practicing down at the river. Then we did a traveling supper. We went to Applebee's for appetizers. Then we went to the local zoo and walked around awhile.

Saturday, July 18, 2015. The 1st ever Knapp family vacation was to Lake Rathbun. We rented this bed and breakfast, Grey Goose Inn. It comes highly recommended to anyone wanting to vacation in this area! Jacob wasn't able to make it due to a late wheat harvest and planting season and was sincerely missed. Especially by all the nieces and nephews! But most of all by me! My first picture of our vacation. A little accident. Not my fault :). The guys got busy playing croquet, bocce ball, and ladder ball.

Tuesday, May 12, 2015. I have been wanting to try making cookies using royal icing. Have you all seen those fun videos floating around that makes it look so easy? Well Let me just say it's going to take me lots more practice to get better. I tried the brush method. I used the smallest icing tip that I had to draw my flower shape, then used a small paint brush to drag the edges. It is really fun if you have time and enjoy this kind of thing! Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Land that I love! I was needing to change out my mantle from my spring decor, and since it was July already, I went with a patriotic design. I found this board in Jake's wood scrap pile. I primed and spray painted it a heirloom white color. Then I downloaded the free shape of the week from the Silhouette store for my Cameo and cut it out of vinyl to make a stencil. I painted it with the little bottles of scrapbooking paint that I had and peeled off the stencil. Me and baby Trace.
