A Walk in Windy Wellington… | gypsy life

https://pommepal.wordpress.com/2015/05/18/a-walk-in-windy-wellington

Memories are made of this. Life is the journey, not the destination. A Walk in Windy Wellington…. May 18, 2015. Wellington is the capital of New Zealand and is at the southern end of the North Island. The cruise ship terminal was only a 20 minute walk from the CBD area. This was one of the only ports that we could actually walk off the port. Mostly we had to be taken in a bus as the port authority does not allow people to wander willy nilly due to security…. The timber is native kauri. Which could not be...

The Gathering of the Gnomes | gypsy life

https://pommepal.wordpress.com/2014/07/15/the-gathering-of-the-gnomes

Memories are made of this. Life is the journey, not the destination. The Gathering of the Gnomes. July 15, 2014. Never have I seen such an unusual sight. A huge gathering of gnomes. Yes the common garden gnome, sometimes ridiculed, sometimes loved, but here they all congregated in their thousands. They have come, one assumes with human assistance, from all over Australia and even from New Zealand and other parts of the world. I noticed Germany, Holland, Canada, Ireland. Just down the road from Donnybrook.

Memories are made of this. Life is the journey, not the destination. Gold Coast Icons,. August 3, 2015. Change is inevitable. I look around and see it happening. So before these Icons have gone and been replaced with bigger and better (often debatable) I decided to take my camera for a ride on the light rail/G.link to Surfers Paradise and walk around to show you what is here at the moment. But gradually new shopping precincts opened. Robina. Take a look at what is coming…. Http:/ www.goldcoastbulleti...

I have so many photos that I would like to share, so I have started this second blog…. Http:/ memoriesaremadeofthisblog.wordpress.com. As I get older I realize that over the years memories build on experiences, people you have met. Some for a short time, some become life long friends. Then, for me, a very special part of my memories involves my passion for travel. So I ...

The Sacred Call Blog

The Sacred Call Blog. Monday, July 8, 2013. 8220;Even though I believe in living in the open, parts of me hide. I can’t help it. But what I can help is which part s of me-the open or the hidden- run my life. What I can rely on is this inexplicable knowing that when I am in the open, life nourishes even those parts so sorely hidden. Mark Nepo; The Book of Awakening. And there is more ……. The Sacred Calling | My thoughts about following Jesus and shepherding God's church

February 3, 2014 · 2:00 pm. How My Reading Habits Have Changed Over the Years. Over the years, my reading habits have changed drastically. And after fifteen years in ministry, I can honestly say I have found a helpful approach to reading that may benefit other pastors who struggle to tackle new material or read beyond the requisite sermon preparation each week. Reading was done much more quickly, was much more focused. My professors taught me to pay particular attention to. Which could just as easily bee...

The Sacred Center | A Dedicant's path

A Dedicant's path. May 19, 2014. I’ve been thinking a lot about what to do with this blog now that my DP work has finished. In the final formatting and transfer stage, I learned pretty quickly that transferring from a blog to word processing program is hardly ideal. For my future studies, I will be abandoning this method. In the future, I may have my own website where I will post my final draft of the DP. Creating a Plan for Living Your Druidism. April 9, 2014. Was it one you expected? The requirement th...

The Sacred Centre | sharing – daring – caring

Sharing – daring – caring. June 5, 2015. A Day in the Life of Birds. Can you spot it? Right in the middle! I saw it again, later in the day, INSIDE the netting of my veg patch, together with it’s dad. Just how they got themselves in there I don’t know. So off I went unravelling the netting so they cold escape, which they did rather flustered and the baby blackbird settled on a branch, where it spent the next 20 minutes as if unsure of what to do next. June 2, 2015. That things won’t be the same? Some of ...
