We love to Grow! My Dwarf Pomegranate ‘Nana’ arrived. My dwarf pomegranate arrived last week. It’s about 6 inches tall, very cute! I may plant it out for the summer when it warms up enough, but it will be and indoor/outdoor plant since it is a warm climate tree. I hope it grows well for me! This entry was posted on May 3, 2011 by Laurie. It was filed under House Plants. And was tagged with pomegranate. I’m glad I found you. Your Flickr photos are wonderful! May 5, 2011 at 8:37 pm. In gardening and growing plants, there is a lot of waiting and patience needed. From the time when seeds sprout to when a plant say, bears fruits or flowers, it can take months or even years. It’s something terribly dull and boring. The first time any seed shows signs of sprouting.it's extremely exciting! You are commen...

Far Out Flora's Blog. Gardening in the Outerlands of San Francisco. Max the Border Collie. May 18, 2011. This is how it looked back then. Almost a year ago, I planted this metal pot rack. Into a succulent hanging thing. Lots of little cuttings, lots of sphagnum moss, lots of potential. Well, it’s all grown up now. Not exactly what I expected, but enough to salvage. A little fluffing and it’s looking sweet again, better than ever. I can’t wait for another 3-6 months to pass to see what happens next&...

A 3 Acre Farm. The One That Got Away. Asymp; 10 Comments. I walked by the back stairs where the last of the pumpkins are stored and saw this. THIS did not happen overnight. When was the last time I checked the pumpkins? I do not like to waste food. I’m not talking about the lost-in-the-back-of-the-refrigerator kind of wasted food. That happens to us all from time to time. I’m talking about the I-planted-weeded- mulched. In the interest of cooking every remaining pumpkin today, let’s make soup. This lovel...

August Moon Society: Rain, Storms, Life
http://www.augustmoonsociety.com/2012/03/rain-storms-life.html
There are two ways to live: you can live as though nothing is a miracle; you can live as though everything is a miracle. –Albert Einstein. Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Rain, Storms, Life. Outside, I can hear the rain pounding against the windows with a steady beat. Once in a while a drop hits a piece of metal and tings. Is this a metaphor for life? Storms come, they escalate, we struggle to find a way to manage, and then the storms are over. We breath again, we relax. We resume life. March 8, 2012 at 5:24 PM.
