The Salted Caramel Life - Travel Inspiration and more
Highlights from Monterey, California. Monterey… a friend of mine used to say Monterey is for the newly weds or the newly dead. Hmmm… To be honest, the first days the town didn’t show much. But if you take a closer look, you find all…. Cotton Candy for the Eyes: Havana, Cuba. Things money can’t buy. When I first flew to Cuba last year and started my long-term travels, I wondered a lot about what could happen. One of the things that bothered me a lot was: What happens if I get lost? Praying at a Thai temple.
The Salted Cod
The Salted Cod has moved, please update your links to http:/ www.thesaltedcod.com. Links to this post. The bread recipe I used is the most basic sourdough recipe available from King Arthur Flour. 1 1/2 c Lukewarm water. 5 1/2 c (to 6 1/2 cups) King Arthur. 1 tb (or packet) active dry yeast. 1 tb Vegetable oil. 1 c Sourdough starter. Can't complain, this is my best looking and tasting loaf to date. Maybe I can pass my bread off as an artisan loaf now. Links to this post. A Fennel Crusted Christmas Eve.

The Salted Espresso
Sunday, July 4, 2010. So this week when Mary Beth Mckenzie. Worked on my underpainting I decided it could be a good idea to take a photo of her corrections. Then I decided it might be helpful to take a photo of my painting day by day and try to figure out where I made good, clear decisions and where I simply pushed paint around on a canvas. It looks more like the corner of a cube jutting out of her back. Also- I couldn't get her hair. It's way too mat. Labels: Mary Beth McKenzie. Sunday, June 27, 2010.
