The Sanguine Stitcher: September 2013
http://sanguinestitchertwo.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, 28 September 2013. I have been enjoying a big chunk of crochet heaven lately. I went to Chinatown last couple of weeks, thinking I could get some worsted-weight cotton yarn. No luck. So I figured I'd get some worsted-weight arcylic yarn instead. And since their for amigurumis Ifigured, I'd go for acrylic for now. After all I'm still a newbie at crochet. So I set about crocheting Stacey Trock's. I need to go downtown again. But not till they stock up on black. Then I discovered Deramores UK.

More than Conquerors: Almost Done!
http://aznickels.blogspot.com/2013/01/almost-done.html
Sunday, January 27, 2013. I am starting my last week of chemotherapy! I can't believe that it has already been three months since I was in the hospital, having all kinds of tests being run, and finally being told that I had this weird auto-immune kidney problem. Each week I start a new set of pills. It always seems so daunting. Except when I have this little guy to help me. "Mom, can I help you take the med-cine? Did you take it all? It'll make your kidneys better, Mom! January 27, 2013 at 11:46 PM.

More than Conquerors: Downton Musings, from Episode 4
http://aznickels.blogspot.com/2013/01/downton-musings-from-episode-4.html
Monday, January 28, 2013. Downton Musings, from Episode 4. SPOILER ALERT - if you didn't see. Last night, and don't want to know what happened, then read no further! I haven't yet mentioned Downton Abbey. Truly, I'm totally talking about the events of the episode now. I had planned to write a scene-by-scene (well, not quite every. Scene) commentary of last night's episode of Downton Abbey;. But since the writers so rudely killed off Sybil, I went into a state of shock and grief, and I couldn't keep up.

More than Conquerors: About Me
http://aznickels.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
Mother's Day 2011: Bryan, Benjamin, Kimberly and Samuel. And coffee - I love that, too. I drink a LOT of coffee. It's a way to keep me sane in the craziness of life! Free "therapy", if you will.). And why the title "More than Conquerors"? I can have victory over my depression, even as I continue to deal with it. This is the promise found in the book of Romans in the Bible, chapter 8, verse 37:. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://aznickels.blogspot.com/2013/01/stitching-stuff.html
Thursday, January 24, 2013. Over the summer, I did get some stitching done - I didn't do any "finishes", but I have four pieces that are ready for finishing, whenever I get around to them.
