A Journey From The Pacific To The Atlantic. Laquo; Day 17. July 6, 2012 by thescapevelocity. 😦 😦 😦 It was a beautiful easy ride to evanston, although relatively ordinary. Excepting the time when we sat eating a snack outside a corner store and a dark blue pick-up truck sped by with a baby black bear in the back! Even though it went quickly, I am not mistaken in my observation. It was not a dog, but a baby black bear poking it’s little nose into the wind! We crossed into Wyoming! Enter your comment here.

Today we got an early start because we were afraid of predicted thunderstorms, but for the better part of the day the weather remained beautifully overcast. A Journey From The Pacific To The Atlantic. Laquo; Day 13. July 3, 2012 by thescapevelocity. From Blackfoot to lava springs. A relatively easy day of 60 miles over rolling hills in 90 degrees. We stopped at pocatello because they had a bike store and got our bikes checked up. We talked to some really nice people and they ended up buying us food instead of charging us for our tune up! We stopped for a snack and to get out of the heat. We stop a lot and I guess that’s what makes it bearable. Great pix, sa!

Still, it is beautiful! Photos don’t do it justice. The sound and air are also beautiful. But wet. We did only forty miles with practically no hills. Noah’s mat deflated permanently last night so we bought a new one at Eureka which is not a nice town. Arcata, the small counter culture town 5 miles north is fantastic!
