We loved getting to know the students in a personal way. I was also able to get some amazing babysitters through the college; ones that the kids loved and we will continue to be in contact with. The schell with it. Ramblings, Musings and Complaining. Tuesday, August 07, 2012. At first I was happy. Proud to be a wife and mother. Little by little things changed. I changed. But as time went on, I began to resent being some body's something. I wanted to be just me. In charge of just me. She would ask us. Ha! Would he rather I didn't do this? He's a meat and potatoes man, he'd never agree to scrambled eggs for dinner. Will he be worried about me if I don't come right home after work? Ch ch cha changes.

The Schels At Home. Thursday, July 9, 2015. Heather and I made plans to spend the day together. It's always fun to plan some type of activity for the kids, so I suggested we go to see The Big Tree in Glendora. I did a blog about this spot a while ago. Duane noticed this tree when he was working at Glendora Community Hospital, and it is indeed a treasure. The tree is a historical landmark. The kids had a blast climbing all over its massive roots. There is a gazebo and huge planters also on the property.
