Jumping Over Sunbeams

And other adventures of motherhood. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Fall happenings and funny Caleb and Maff-isms. 2) John has started his internship, and of course, is enjoying it. I am a bit biased, but I think he's doing a great job. He preached last Sunday (we left said campground and high-tailed it across SW Ohio- including a stop at McD's so I could wash my hair and appear somewhat presentable! And is doing a great job. I said, "excuse me? Monday, August 16, 2010. And just where did the summer go?

Jumping Over Sunbeams: May 2009

http://www.thescheusners.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

And other adventures of motherhood. Monday, May 11, 2009. So more from the land of 3 yr old Caleb:. 1) Caleb has learned how to contradict, except he doesn't do it quite right. If we say, "Yes, you will drink your milk" he says, "Yes I won't! It's just funny; he's being so adament- and oh, so wrong, in so many ways. :). 2) The other day, all by himself, Caleb said, this:. Mommy, I'm so proud of you." He often says that. and we're thankful. But this time, I asked him why. My mom is "20" years old. But the...

Jumping Over Sunbeams: 2010, the dentist, and a few other things.

http://www.thescheusners.blogspot.com/2010/01/2010-dentist-and-few-other-things.html

And other adventures of motherhood. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. 2010, the dentist, and a few other things. So it's 2010. The end of a decade. Ten years ago, I celebrated 2000 (and the new millenium) with my best buddy Heather, by running in our birthday suits in the pitch black across her mom's-way-out-in-the-country-yard, at midnight. It was great. We got dressed again and giggled the night away. Needless to say, a few weeks ago, I was NOT doing that! And here's their mama. :). As usual, when I'm think...

Jumping Over Sunbeams: And just where did the summer go?

http://www.thescheusners.blogspot.com/2010/08/and-just-where-did-summer-go.html

And other adventures of motherhood. Monday, August 16, 2010. And just where did the summer go? So we have had a full, fun summer. Rich and full. Lots and lots of work, but in between we've squeezed in lots and lots travel, lots of reconnecting, lots of time spent in our faithful old Honda Odyssey (let's hear it for Honda! We've been to Michigan twice, Chicago, St. Louis, Cleveland, Florida. Let's see. Where do I start? Do I go chronologically? Two disclaimers before I begin:. Ok, I vote for chronological:.

Jumping Over Sunbeams: April 2009

http://www.thescheusners.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

And other adventures of motherhood. Friday, April 17, 2009. Our camera is on the fritz. It works, but it's a pain to hook up. It's broken- I can still take pics, but. anyway, we'll do pics soon. So, we are almost done with this year. And I'm relieved. it's been a tough year. It is my last year of clinicals for my Family Nurse Practitioner degree (I graduate in June- yeah! Clinicals this quarter are full time. John is doing his Clinical Pastoral Experience (25-35 hrs/week on top of his full time job).

The Johnson Five!!!!!: Back in the hospital

http://markandjenika.blogspot.com/2010/01/back-in-hospital.html

Saturday, January 23, 2010. Back in the hospital. Well, the Johnsons continue to have medical drama. Alaina caught a virus, the virus settled into pneumonia, and we are back in the hospital.oh, and today's my birthday. She is doing okay now. Yesterday was bad, but it seems she is more comfortable now. She still has a long way to go though and feels quite bad. I knew it was God speaking His language to me and it felt wonderful. She brought me the best cup of tea I have ever had. January 23, 2010 at 3:06 PM.

Monday, March 15, 2010. Just a little bit of bragging.forgive me! I am being forced to brag.I can't help it so bear with me. By 2 1/2 he knew letter sounds, could count to 20, had known his colors and shapes for some time.then the seizures. Throughout his acute illness, he still would rattle off all he knew even though he had trouble saying other things. Today at Hy-Vee in the coffee section, he sees the word "coffee." Liam says, "Mom, that says "of." He picked out "of" from the word "coffee! Books I've ...

The Johnson Five!!!!!: This morning

http://markandjenika.blogspot.com/2010/01/this-morning.html

Monday, January 25, 2010. Well, Alaina has taken a step back. She is happy and looking a lot better but requiring more oxygen then yesterday. It's a huge bummer because we won't be able to go home like we wanted. Also, the predinsone that she is on for her lungs keeps her AWAKE. I think we slept 3 hours last night. At home the boys are still sick.including Mark. I called this morning and Liam was crying and he sounded awful. No seizures though! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Books I've read in 2010.

Life to the Fullest

Life to the Fullest. Thursday, May 9, 2013. Emery - 1 Month. A little update about Emery's first month of life-. Eating: From the first time Emery nursed, she just got it. All the nurses in the hospital couldn't believe what a good little eater she was. I feel very blessed that this has been so easy. She eats every 2-3 hours (or more when she's going through a growth spurt) and will let you know when she is hungry! First Easter in her bunny gown- 3 weeks. First bath at home. Happiness is the design of our existence

Tuesday, June 3, 2014. We finally took the plunge and bought us a house! We have decided we like the warm climate of St. George compared to the often cold climate of Cedar so we purchased a home in the St. George area. Hopefully this means that we will be staying put for at least 10 years! I had to steal pictures from the MLS because it was such a rush to start work on the house that I did not go in and take any before pictures. I know. I am a photographer. its unacceptable!
