D and J Snapshots. Strawberry picking in March. Strawberry picking is in full force down here! We haven't tried this before, but after hearing about so many others who had recently picked strawberries here, we decided to try it too! It was a gorgeous evening to be outside. No mosquitoes . . . yet. There were soo many berries! It was really fun! I couldn't believe how many rows and fields they had and all of them were full of ripe, red strawberries! They were very very good! Houston Stockshow 2012 fun!

D and J Snapshots. We moved some furniture around to clean underneath it, and Isaac decided to help! He grabbed a part of the vacuum that we weren't using, and started moving it around just like his Daddy! They worked together to get all the dirt and dust under and around the couch! Isaac was our big helper! He really likes to help hand me things when I'm unloading the dish washer or folding clothes! As he grows bigger, I hope he will continue to have a desire to help out! One butterfly landed on my bag!

D and J Snapshots. Isaac's first "real" hair cut! I took Isaac to get his first "real" hair cut at my salon! Previously, I had trimmed the long hairs around his ears a little, but didn't want to try doing any "real" cutting. I would like to eventually try cutting his hair, but probably not until he's able to sit still for me! He was very still most of the time! He didn't cry or try to get down. I held his hand the whole time and reassured him that he was doing great! Just how I like it! Our Life Up North!

D and J Snapshots. Isaac got a rocking horse for his birthday! This past week it has been his favorite thing! He tries to throw his leg over the back of it, but sometimes lifts up the wrong leg - which is soo cute! The horse makes noises and sings a little song. He giggles and likes to press the buttons, which are in the horse's ears. Isaac is 14 months old! Busy boy Isaac is 14 months old! He loves to come over to the back window in the living room. Here is the binoculars, Mommy! Isaac got an " ouchy.

D and J Snapshots. Uncle Daniel, Aunt Alessandra, and Cousin Sarah visit! We had so much fun with Uncle Daniel, Aunt Alessandra, and Cousin Sarah! Aunt Debbie making Sarah fly! She would walk about 15 feet away and then run into my arms and I'd lift her high up and say "wee" and she would giggle and laugh! It was sooo fun! She kept walking over a ways and then running into my arms over and over and over! She probably got to "fly" about 35 times! It was great fun! The shark tanks and tunnels were awesome!

D and J Snapshots. Holiday Cheer . . . Around Here . . . I LOVE Christmas time! It is such a beautiful season of joy and fun activities! We enjoyed rolling and cutting out some Christmas cookies with Isaac this past weekend! He got covered in flour! After our cookie-bake-off, we got cleaned up and headed out for a family night out! We ate at P.F. Chang's (YUM), and then went to the Michael W. Smith concert at 2nd Baptist church with full orchestra and choir! The back up singers were incredible, also!

D and J Snapshots. Isaac had a fun, sports-themed birthday party! The cupcake idea was great for serving young kids, because they were fun and easy to eat! Isaac's friends enjoyed gathering around really close to watch him open gifts. They all wanted to give him the gift from themselves next, and could hardly wait to see what was inside each bag or box! Isaac is having lots of fun with his new toys and wearing his new clothes, so let me just say another big thank you to everyone! Big birthday boy, Isaac!
