Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Andi's 1st Birthday Party. We weren't sure what to do for Andi's 1st Birthday party, but decided to have a party at home. Her owl cake turned out so cute! Saturday, August 30, 2014. Kindergarten Screening, Orientation and Open House. A couple of weeks ago, we went to Courthouse Road for Emma's Kindergarten screening. Helen arrived at the same time as us and we were thrilled to run into each other. Mrs Neiman took us back to a classroom for almost an hour to assess our skills and Mrs. Rappa brought us back in together. Sunday, August 10, 2014. Callie and Daphne competed in a very wet Children's Pet Show at the Newport Fair this year. Even though it was raining there were still enough contestants in the show to make it interesting. Our adorable duo won second in "funniest trick", "best trained" and "costume" and first in "look-a-like" category. A total of nine dollars in winnings, enough for a new dog toy, perhaps? Walking to the show. I might have been a little too involved! A soggy and exhausted dog handler.
