So we did it! 1 Use the potty installed in the camper - 4:00 am with Bradley. . thumbs down. 2 Remember to turn on the fridge, so in the morning the salami sandwich doesn't smell so ripe. 3 Bring an ax or hatchet so we don't have to pretend we are boy scouts. 4 Ask fellow campers for help. They are really quite nice. 5 Don't do anything to the heater. It does work great! 8 Pack another pair of chonnies for Bradley. 13 Reassure Karlee there are no bears.

Friday, May 11, 2012. How do you measure a year? Our sweet boy T turned 5 this week. It's crazy to believe he's 5 and ready to join in on all the "big kid" stuff like school and .well, that's about it. He's excited to start school in the fall but I think the shock will come when he realizes he's not in the same class as his older brother who'll be in the 3rd grade! Thursday, March 8, 2012. That was not in the brochure! We've been here for a little over one month now and there are many things we've learned during our stay here so far. Some I've had to learn the hard way and some just by observation. Some came easily and some by desperation. Here is a little of what we've learned and I'm sure there is more out there but for starters. McDonalds is universally the same no matter where you go. Roundabouts are fun. I haven't seen a traffic light or stopsign in weeks.
